This is my family’s first trip to Disneyland in California and we only have time to visit one park. Should we do Disney’s California Adventure Park or the Disneyland Park?
This is a tough question, and there really is no right answer. Having said that, since this is your first visit, I definitely recommend Disneyland. I know right now everyone is hearing a lot about California Adventure and its newest additions, and it is definitely worth a visit at some point, but the Disneyland Park will always be the heart of the Disneyland Resort. A lot of Guests make the mistake of assuming that the Disneyland Park will be just like the Magic Kingdom in Florida. That could not be further from the truth. Most visitors are pleasantly surprised at the differences between Disneyland in California and the Magic Kingdom Park.
